Development Info

Cross-Controller was a brand new PlayStation exclusive experience, where the PS Vita could be used in combination with the PS3.

On Cross-Controller, I was mainly responsible for merging the two internal LBP 2 Perforce branches, and integrating the external LBP Vita SVN branch over to our internal Perforce branch.

The main features I developed were the Pins and Trophies, the tutorial video compression and playback, and the integration of the new DLC pack and associated UI.

I also reduced the PSVita package size, and optimised the build process.

All while providing support to the level designers and artists, and working closely with QA.

Before the release of the Cross-Controller DLC, I was also providing patch support and bug fixes for LBP2.
This gave immense pleasure for the first time of knowing that millions of players worldwide would be experiencing my code.
